About the Independent Pilots Association

The Independent Pilots Association is the collective bargaining representative for approximately 3,400 professional pilots employed by UPS Airlines.

Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky, IPA protects and advances the safety, careers, contractual rights, and professional interests of its members through collective bargaining, contract enforcement, government affairs, safety programs, professional representation, and public engagement.

IPA is an independent labor organization and does not speak on behalf of UPS corporate management.
